Job Title: Insurance Sales Agent (P&C and Life & Health)

Location:   Jodie Parrack State Farm, Elkins, WV  

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Agent to join our dynamic team at Jodie Parrack State Farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling property and casualty (P&C) insurance, as well as life and health insurance products. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, relationship building, and a deep understanding of insurance policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

·    Sales and Customer Service:
o Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
o Conduct thorough needs assessments and risk analysis for clients to recommend appropriate insurance products.
o Actively seek new clients through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.

·    Product Knowledge:
o Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and changes in regulations to provide accurate information and advice to clients.
o Explain the features and benefits of various insurance policies, including P&C and Life & Health options.

·    Policy Management:
o Assist clients with policy selection, renewal, and updates, ensuring they understand their coverage and benefits.
o Process applications and renewals and maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.

·    Compliance and Licensing:
o Maintain all necessary licenses for P&C and Life & Health insurance as required by state regulations.
o Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and legal standards.

·    Performance Tracking:
o Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the agency.

Qualifications:
·    High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
·    Valid insurance license for Property & Casualty and Life & Health in WV.
·    Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
·    Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Compensation: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
